Product Description
xThe Andela is a ø360 mm dimmable LED oyster in chrome with crystal — 30 W for 2,400 lm at 5000 K.
Only the ROUND version is stocked. The listing name offers round or square; the square is not available.
Crystal on an oyster, which is rare
Oysters are normally plain opal discs bought for function. The Andela puts metal and crystal into the same low-profile format — so in a room with a low ceiling you get a decorative fitting rather than a compromise. That is the reason to choose it over a standard oyster.
Dimmable, unlike most oysters
A genuinely useful feature in a bedroom or living area: bright at 2,400 lm for cleaning, low for evening. Check dimmer compatibility with us before ordering — that is where dimming problems come from, not from the fitting.
5000 K is a deliberate choice
Cool white, and worth being clear about: this is crisp and bright rather than warm. Right for a kitchen, a laundry, a garage or a bathroom; in a bedroom or lounge it will read as clinical unless you dim it well down.
180° spread, 115 mm deep
A full half-sphere of light from a fitting that sits close to the ceiling — even coverage with nothing to walk into.
It needs an earth
Class I — hard-wired, earth required, and IP20, so it is not for a shower zone.

- Kitchens, laundries and utility rooms.
- Hallways and entries with low ceilings.
- Bedrooms, dimmed down.
- Anywhere an oyster is needed but a plain one would look like a compromise.

Is the square version available?
No. Despite the listing name, only the round version is stocked.
Will it work with my dimmer?
It is dimmable, but compatibility depends on the dimmer — check with us before ordering.
Is 5000 K too cool for a bedroom?
Probably, unless you dim it well down. It is crisp and bright — better suited to kitchens, laundries and bathrooms.
How bright is it?
2,400 lm from 30 W across a 180° spread — enough to be the only fitting in a normal room.
Is there a globe to replace?
No. The LED is integrated and included.
Can I install it myself?
No. It is Class I, hard-wired and requires an earth.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
