Akril 2 Light Wall Light

The largest Akril: a Ø50 mm acrylic head at each end of a 276 mm poly powder-coated aluminium body, throwing up and down from one point and running directly off 240 V. This is the one for a two-storey façade, a tall pillar or a gate post, where a smaller fitting would be lost against the surface behind it.

What it puts out

Each head carries a 5 W LED, so the fitting draws 2 × 5 W and Havit quotes the output per head: 2 × 315 lm, 2 × 365 lm or 2 × 370 lm by colour setting. That is roughly 630–740 lm across both beams — enough that a single fitting can carry an entry on its own, and enough that two of them close together on a narrow pillar will usually be one too many.

Colour temperature

Set once at installation: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K. 5500K is the brightest at 2 × 370 lm, with 4000K almost level at 2 × 365 lm and 3000K at 2 × 315 lm. Warm white is the only setting that costs meaningful output here, and on a rendered or light-brick wall it is usually the one that flatters the surface. SDCM <5 holds a run consistent between fittings; it cannot rescue a run where the settings differ, so decide once and apply it to all of them.

Where to mount it

Because it throws both ways from one point, mounting height decides the shape of the light rather than its amount. Around eye height or a little above gives the upward beam enough wall to travel across and keeps the downward beam useful on the ground; too high and the upward wash spills past the top of the surface, too low and both beams pool close to the fitting. On a pillar, centring it on the face matters more than matching the height of anything else nearby.

Supply, earthing and control

There is no driver in this version — it wires straight to 240 V. It is Protection Class 1, so an earth connection is required at the fitting, unlike the extra-low-voltage Akril, which is Class 3. Havit specifies the fitting as not dimmable: switch it rather than wiring it to a dimmer, and if you want the façade to soften at night, do it with a second switched circuit rather than a dimmer.

Rating and size

It is IP65 against dust and water jets from any direction, IK04 for impact, with CRI >80, UGR <35 and a lamp expectancy of >30,000 hrs. Overall size is 276 × 80 × 80 mm, in black or white at the same price, with a 3 years replacement warranty.
