The two-headed version of the mains Akril: the same poly powder-coated aluminium section with a Ø40 mm acrylic head at each end, stretched to 276 mm long, washing up and down from a single point on the wall. It is the fitting people use on pillars, porches, gate posts and entry walls, where the symmetry above and below the body is the whole effect.
Each head carries a 3 W LED, so the fitting draws 2 × 3 W and Havit publishes its output per head: 2 × 185 lm, 2 × 210 lm or 2 × 215 lm depending on the colour setting. In round terms that is 370–430 lm leaving the fitting, split evenly between the two beams. The 260° spread is what turns each beam into a tall soft column on the wall rather than a tight spot.
Set once at installation to 3000K, 4000K or 5500K. 5500K is the brightest here, at 2 × 215 lm, followed by 4000K at 2 × 210 lm and 3000K at 2 × 185 lm — the coolest setting really is the strongest on this model, which is worth knowing before you assume warm white is free. Keep every fitting on one elevation on the same setting; SDCM <5 guarantees consistency between fittings, not between settings.
This is the 240 V Akril, so it wires straight into the wall with no driver anywhere in the run. It is Protection Class 1, which means an earth connection is required at the fitting — the extra-low-voltage Akril is Class 3 and needs none, so the two versions are not interchangeable and should not be mixed on one circuit. Confirm which one is already installed before you extend an existing run.
It is IP65 against dust and water jets, IK04 for impact, with CRI >80, UGR <35 and a lamp expectancy of >30,000 hrs. Havit specifies it as not dimmable, so switch it rather than putting it on a dimmer. Overall size is 276 × 80 × 64 mm. Both black and white cost the same and both carry a 3 years replacement warranty. Lights For You stocks the single-direction version in the same body, and mixing the two along one wall works well provided the finish and the colour setting are kept identical.
Havit’s installation instructions for this fitting state that aluminium fittings should not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environment. That is a condition on where the fitting may go, and it sits beside the IP rating rather than inside it: a fitting can be rated for direct rain and still fall outside this rule, because the issue is salt carried in the air rather than water landing on the surface. If your site is inside that zone, talk to us before you specify it — Lights For You can point you at a fitting whose material Havit does not name here.
Havit quotes it per head: 2 × 185 lm at 3000K, 2 × 210 lm at 4000K and 2 × 215 lm at 5500K. Across both beams that is roughly 370–430 lm, split evenly up and down.
No. This is the 240 V version and it wires directly into the wall. The extra-low-voltage Akril in the same range does need one, so check which version you are ordering.
Yes — Protection Class 1, so an earth must be connected at the fitting. This is the practical difference from the low-voltage Akril, which is Class 3.
5500K, at 2 × 215 lm. 4000K gives 2 × 210 lm and 3000K gives 2 × 185 lm, so the coolest setting is the strongest on this model.
It is a very wide spread rather than a narrow spot, so each head washes a tall band of light up or down the wall instead of putting a defined circle on it. That is what gives the Akril its continuous architectural look.
No. Havit specifies this model as non-dimmable, so it should be switched rather than wired to a dimmer.
Same section and same Ø40 mm head, but longer — 276 mm against 183 mm — because it carries a head at each end and throws both up and down. The single throws one way only.
