Product Description
xThe Ahern is a 970 mm fifteen-light pendant in brass with opal glass shades.
Fifteen globes, at 25 W each. That is 375 W in total and fifteen E27 globes to buy — a real cost alongside the fitting, and a real load on the circuit. Have your electrician confirm the circuit before ordering.
Fifteen shades is a statement, not a light fitting choice
At 970 mm wide with fifteen opal glass shades, the Ahern is the largest multi-light pendant in this range. It needs a large dining table, a double-height entry or a void — anywhere smaller and it will overwhelm the room rather than furnish it.
Opal glass keeps fifteen globes comfortable
Fifteen bare filaments over a table would be unbearable. Opal diffuses each one, so what you see is fifteen soft glows rather than fifteen points of glare — which is what makes a fitting this size possible at eye level.
Brass accents against opalescent glass
Warm metal against milky glass. The combination is deliberately timeless rather than fashionable, which is the argument for a fitting you are unlikely to replace.
Not dimmable
Our sources record no dimming, despite an earlier version of this page promising it. If you want to vary the level on a fitting this bright, that has to come from dimmable globes on a compatible dimmer — ask us before you commit.
Buy the globes in one batch
Across fifteen shades, a single globe at a different colour temperature is impossible to miss. Order them together and add spares.

How tall is it?
We are not publishing a height — our sources give 530 mm and 730 mm. Ask us and we will confirm.
Is it dimmable?
No source records dimming, despite an earlier version of this page promising it. Any dimming would have to come from dimmable globes on a compatible dimmer.
Will the circuit handle it?
375 W is a real load. Have your electrician confirm the circuit before ordering.
Do the globes need to match?
Yes, and visibly so. Across fifteen shades one different globe is impossible to miss — order them in one batch with spares.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
