This is a post to suit HV1435T.
⚠ It is a component on its own - there is no light source, driver or wiring supplied with it.
This is a post for the fitting it is listed against - it carries the fitting at height rather than leaving it at ground level.
Height changes what a fitting does. The same head that grazes a garden bed from just above the soil will light a path across its full width from a metre and a half up, because raising the source widens the pool of light it casts and softens its edge.
It also changes glare. A light at ankle height is out of the line of sight; the same light raised to eye level is not, which is why a raised fitting usually wants shielding or a lens that a ground-level one does not.
Decide the cable route before installing it. A post is fixed and its cable comes up through it, so the trench and the entry point have to be right the first time - this is not a component that can be moved half a metre once it is in.
⚠ This part is made for HV1435T and does not transfer to other models. Confirm the part number on the fitting you have before ordering.
Order it with the fitting where you can. A component like this is inexpensive next to the work it holds up, and the job that waits on one small part is a job that stays unfinished for the sake of a few dollars.
The hard part of ordering a component is rarely the component; it is working out which one you have. Lighting ranges share a look across models that take entirely different parts, and a part that is a few millimetres out simply will not fit.
The reliable identifier is the part number on the fitting itself. It is usually printed on the body, on the driver, or on a label inside the housing, and it is worth finding before ordering rather than after. Where a fitting is already installed and the label is out of reach, a clear photograph is often enough for our team at Lights For You to identify it.
It is also worth checking what else the job needs while you are looking. Components are usually ordered one at a time and arrive one at a time, and a second small part discovered after the first has been fitted means the work stops twice instead of once.
No. This is the post only - the fitting it carries is separate.
Raising the source widens and softens the pool of light. It also raises the fitting towards the line of sight, so shielding matters more.
The HV1435T. Parts of this kind are made to one model and do not swap between them.
No. It is a component only - any driver, cable or light source is separate.
