The 703 is a gimble downlight frame — frame only. It is adjustable, takes a 90 mm cut-out, and contains no light source.
There is no LED in this product. It is the trim and the tilting mechanism; the light comes from a twist-on LED module bought separately. Tell us what you are lighting and we will match the module — wattage, colour temperature and beam angle are all decided by that choice, not by this frame. (Our record lists “12 W” against it, which is meaningless on an empty frame.)
A fixed downlight points straight down and lights the floor. A gimble frame swivels within its housing, so you can aim the beam at a painting, a joinery run, a feature wall or a bench. That single degree of freedom is the difference between general lighting and lighting something on purpose.
Two real advantages. First, you choose the module — and can change it later for a different wattage or colour without touching the ceiling. Second, when a module eventually fails, you twist in a new one rather than cutting an integrated downlight out of the plasterboard.
15 mm of cover around the cut edge, which is the standard Australian downlight hole — so it drops into most existing ceilings without new cutting.
IP44 means it is rated for splashing water, so it can go in a bathroom or laundry. IC-4 means insulation may be laid directly over it, with no clearance gap to cut. Both ratings apply to the frame; confirm the module carries them too.
Warranty is one year. Our datasheet says five and the product record says one. We publish the shorter and will confirm with Telbix on request — a fivefold difference is worth settling before you buy in quantity.
ø105 mm trim, 90 mm cut-out, white, adjustable gimble. No LED module included — twist-on modules sold separately. IP44 — bathrooms YES, IC-4 — insulation may cover it. Installation by a licensed electrician. Warranty published as one year — the sheet says five; ask us.

The frame is IP44 and IC-4, so yes to both — but confirm the module you pair with it carries the same ratings.
