A 5 W E27 LED globe in the classic A60 shape, available in 4000 K neutral or 6000 K daylight.

The warm 3000 K version is not stocked. This listing's name mentions it; only 4000 K and 6000 K are available. Ask us if you need warm white and we will point you to a globe that is.

A60 is the shape almost everything takes

The standard pear-shaped household globe, 60 mm across and 108 mm long, with an E27 Edison screw base. It fits table lamps, floor lamps, pendants, batten holders and most exterior wall lights — it is the default, which makes it the sensible globe to buy in quantity.

Which colour temperature

4000 K is neutral or natural white — not "cool white", despite what this page used to say. It suits kitchens, laundries, studies and garages. 6000 K is daylight — noticeably blue-toned, for workshops, task areas and anywhere you want maximum apparent brightness. Neither is a living-room or bedroom colour.

5 W, and not dimmable

Around 450 lm from 5 W — a modest output, roughly a 40 W incandescent, at a fraction of the running cost. These do not dim. Fitting a non-dimmable globe to a dimmer circuit causes flicker and buzzing and shortens its life, so check the circuit before ordering.

Buy them in one batch

Small differences between production runs are visible when globes sit side by side in a multi-light fitting. Order all the globes for one room together.

Is the warm 3000 K version available?

No. Despite the listing name, only 4000 K and 6000 K are stocked. Ask us if you need warm white and we will point you to one that is.

Is 4000 K cool white?

No — 4000 K is neutral or natural white. An earlier version of this page called it cool white, which was wrong. 6000 K is the daylight option.

Can I use it on a dimmer?

No. These do not dim. On a dimmer circuit they flicker, buzz and fail early — check the circuit before ordering.

Will it fit my lamp?

If your lamp takes E27, yes. A60 is the standard household shape at 60 × 108 mm.

How bright is it?

About 450 lm from 5 W — roughly equivalent to a 40 W incandescent.

Should I buy them all at once?

Yes, if they are going into one room or one multi-light fitting. Production runs vary slightly and it shows side by side.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
  • Credit: will be issued in the form of store credit and will be equal to the price paid.
