This is a set of mounting clips, to suit the HV9695-6332 aluminium profile.

⚠ It is a fitting accessory on its own. There is no LED strip in it, no channel and no driver - it is one of the parts that holds a profile run where it needs to be.

What it does

Clips screw to the surface first, and the profile then presses into them. That keeps every fixing behind the channel, so the visible face of the run stays unbroken - no screw heads along a line that is about to be lit from within.

They also make the run serviceable. A clipped profile can be sprung back off to reach the strip behind it, which matters on the day a section needs replacing, and matters more still if the alternative is unscrewing a channel that has since been painted in.

Ordering the right one

⚠ These parts are shaped to a particular profile and do not interchange. Confirm the profile part number - HV9695-6332 - before ordering.

Count what the job needs from the length of the run rather than ordering a nominal few. Fixings are spaced along a run, so a longer profile needs proportionally more of them, and a channel fixed at too few points will show a visible sag or a wave in the line of light once it is switched on.

It is worth having one or two spare. These are the smallest components in a profile installation and the ones most easily mislaid on site, and a run left unfixed while a replacement is ordered rarely gets finished promptly.

Installing it

Fit these before the strip and the diffuser go in. Working on a channel that is already loaded means either working around the strip or taking it back out, and the adhesive backing on LED strip does not always survive a second attempt.

Check the run is straight and sitting flat as you go rather than at the end. A profile is rigid enough to hide a small misalignment while it is loose, and rigid enough to make it permanent once it is fixed.
