Product Description
x1.5W G4 LED globe
A replacement LED globe on a miniature bi-pin base, running on 12V. G4 is a tiny two-pin base used in cabinet lights, display fittings and caravan lighting, and it is low voltage. The pins push straight in with no twist.
Globes are the one part of a light fitting that is genuinely consumable, and the reason to buy a good one is that a fitting outlives many of them. Getting the base right is the whole job - everything else is a preference.
Light output
It draws 1.5W and is rated at 110lm and 90lm. The beam is 180°. Colour rendering is ≥80.
The colour temperature is 3000K and 5500K, fixed. Matching it to the globes already in the room matters more than the exact number: a single globe at a different colour in a run of downlights is the first thing anyone notices.
Dimming
Havit does not list this globe as dimmable, so it should not be put on a dimmed circuit. On a lamped fitting the dimming behaviour follows the globe rather than the fitting, so a non-dimmable globe on a dimmer typically buzzes or flickers rather than dimming cleanly.
Getting a long life out of it
An LED globe rarely fails the way a halogen did. What kills it early is heat: the electronics sit in the base, and in a sealed or insulated fitting that heat has nowhere to go. A globe that dies within months in one fitting and lasts for years in another is almost always telling you about the fitting, not the globe.
If a fitting is fully enclosed, check it is rated for that before assuming the globe is at fault. The same applies to insulation packed against a downlight in a ceiling - it traps heat around the very part that is least tolerant of it.
Before you order
⚠ This is a LOW VOLTAGE globe. It cannot be connected to mains and needs the transformer or driver that is already behind the fitting. If you are unsure which you have, check whether the existing globe has pins that push in (low voltage) or a base that twists or screws (usually mains), and confirm the voltage marked on the old globe.
Take the old globe with you or photograph its markings. Our team at Lights For You can identify a base from a clear photograph, which is faster than measuring pin spacing.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
