The Lodan WB is a 108 mm aluminium wall light that rotates through 360° — integrated 3 W LED giving 210 lm at 3000 K, CRI above 90 — in brass, copper or gun metal.

The rotation is the reason to buy it — and our page cut it off

The old description ended mid-word at “Its 360° rota”. Stated properly: the head turns through a full circle on its backplate, so one fitting washes the wall upward, downward, or along it — and you can change your mind after it is installed. Beside a bed that means the same light reads across a book or up the wall depending on the hour.

⚠ It is Class III — low voltage, under 54 V — so it needs a driver. No source mentions one being supplied. Ask us to confirm what ships in the box before you order, and tell your electrician before they quote — a low-voltage fitting is not wired like a mains one.

CRI above 90, which is unusual at 3 watts

CRI >90 is a specification you normally see on gallery and retail lighting, not on a small accent fitting. It means skin, timber and artwork hold their colour under it. On a light that grazes a textured wall or lands on a picture, that is exactly where the quality shows.

210 lumens is an accent, not a room light. Three watts is small. The Lodan is bought to put light on a surface — a wall, a headboard, a picture — not to light a room. Plan other light in the space.

Three metal finishes, all matte

Brass, copper and gun metal in a matte finish. Copper is the warmest and goes warmer still under a 3000 K LED; brass sits between; gun metal is the quiet one and is the safest against a dark or textured wall. All three are aluminium with the finish applied, on a 104 mm round backplate projecting 31 mm.

Small, and deliberately so

108 mm long, 32 mm wide, 0.48 kg. It reads as a detail on the wall rather than a fixture — which is why the rotation matters more than the size: you are placing light, not an object.

Where it works
  • Beside a bed, rotated across a book or up the wall.
  • On a picture or an artwork, where CRI above 90 earns its keep.
  • Grazing a textured wall, up or down.
  • ⚠ Not as a room’s only light — 210 lm is an accent.
  • ⚠ Indoor and dry locations only — IP20.
Specifying it

108 mm long by 32 mm wide, backplate 104 mm diameter projecting 31 mm, 0.48 kg, in matte aluminium. 360° rotating head. Integrated 3 W COB LED giving 210 lm at 3000 K, included, CRI >90, not dimmable. 240 V supply, Class III — low voltage; driver required, not confirmed as supplied, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Questions
Does it really rotate?

Yes — the head turns through a full 360° on its backplate, so one fitting washes the wall upward, downward or along it, and you can change your mind after it is installed. Our old page cut this off mid-word and never said so.

Does it need a driver?

It is Class III, low voltage under 54 V, so yes — and no source confirms one is supplied. Ask us before you order, and tell your electrician before they quote: a low-voltage fitting is not wired like a mains one.

Is it bright enough to read by?

Not really — 210 lm from 3 W is an accent output. It is bought to put light on a surface: a wall, a headboard, a picture. Plan other light in the room.

What is CRI above 90 for?

Colour accuracy. It is a specification you normally see on gallery and retail lighting — skin, timber and artwork hold their colour under it. On a light that grazes a wall or lands on a picture, that is where it shows.

Which finish should I pick?

Copper is the warmest and goes warmer still under a 3000 K LED; brass sits between; gun metal is the quiet one and the safest against a dark or textured wall. All three are matte.

How big is it?

108 mm long and 32 mm wide on a 104 mm round backplate, projecting 31 mm. It reads as a detail on the wall rather than a fixture.

Is it dimmable?

No. Fixed output at 3000 K warm white.
