Product Description
xThe Dixon is a compact exterior up/down wall light that takes GU10 globes rather than a built-in LED — which is the whole argument for it. When the lamp fails you change a globe instead of the fitting, and you choose the beam and colour temperature yourself.
Two finishes, not three. Earlier copy offered black, stainless steel and white. Only black and stainless steel are stocked.
Replaceable globes are the point
Most up/down wall lights at this size have a sealed LED, so a failure means replacing the whole fitting off a ladder. The Dixon takes GU10 lamps up to 35 W, so it outlives its globes. It also lets you tune the effect: a narrow GU10 gives tight scallops up and down the wall, a wide one gives a broader wash. Globes are not listed as supplied — order them with the fitting.
Stainless steel near the coast
The stainless option is the one to specify within reach of salt air, where a painted finish eventually blisters at any breach. Inland, black is the quieter choice against most walls.

- Coastal properties, using the stainless finish.
- Anywhere a sealed-LED fitting would mean replacing the whole unit when the lamp fails.
Specifying it
It is 255 mm high and 110 mm square, with a frosted glass diffuser. Takes GU10 globes, 35 W maximum. Rated IP44 — protected against splashing from any direction, suitable for normal weather but not direct hosing. It runs on 240 V and is Class I — an earth is required. Warranty is one year, shorter than most of the range.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Buy a couple of spare GU10 lamps at the same time — matching a globe years later is harder than buying two now.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
