Product Description
xThe Chad is a timber and iron table lamp under a fabric shade — 570 mm tall on a ø330 mm base. The timber is the character: warm, grained and matte against a black metal frame.
A wide base wants a real surface
At ø330 mm this needs a proper console, sideboard or generous side table. On a narrow bedside it will overhang, and a lamp overhanging its table is the first thing anyone notices in a room.
Fabric over timber gives a warm, soft pool
The shade diffuses rather than directs, so the Chad throws a soft pool onto the surface below and a warm glow into the room. It is an atmosphere lamp rather than a reading lamp — for reading, aim something at the page instead.
Cord switch, plugs in
It is Class II — double insulated, no earth required, on an 1,800 mm cable with an inline switch about 300 mm from the lamp. No electrician, no switched socket needed.

- Consoles and sideboards with the depth for a ø330 mm base.
- Living room side tables, as a warm secondary light.
- Entry halls, where the timber warms a hard surface.
- Larger bedsides — measure first.

Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Timber is a natural material, so grain and tone vary between pieces.

How big is it?

Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately.
Is it good for reading?
Not especially. The fabric shade diffuses rather than directs, so it gives atmosphere. For reading, use something you can aim.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It is double insulated with an inline switch on an 1,800 mm cable.
Is the timber real?
Yes — timber and iron with a fabric shade. Grain and tone vary naturally between pieces.
Is it dimmable?
Globe dependent. Fit a dimmable globe and use a plug-in dimmer.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
