Product Description
xThe Lang is a suspended cord set — a lampholder, a canopy and 2.4 m of cable, with no shade at all. It is the fitting you buy when the globe is the light.
There is no shade, and that is deliberate
A cord set exists to hang a decorative globe. Pair it with a large filament or G125 globe and the lamp becomes the fitting; pair it with a plain frosted globe and you have a bare lampholder, which is not the look anyone is after. Buy the globe at the same time — on this product it is not an accessory, it is the design.
2.4 m of cable is a lot
That is more drop than almost any pendant here, and it is shortened at installation. It means the Lang can hang down a stairwell or a double-height void where a standard 1.5 m suspension would strand the globe near the ceiling.
Hang them in groups
Because a cord set is visually so light, three or five clustered at staggered heights reads far better than one alone. Over an island, in a row at even centres, is the other standard arrangement.
Where it works
- Stairwells and voids, using the full 2.4 m drop.
- Kitchen islands, in a row of three at even centres.
- Bedsides, hung low in place of a table lamp.
- Anywhere a decorative globe is the intended feature.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
