Product Description
xThe Ting is a 530 mm table lamp with a ceramic base under a white fabric shade.
Ceramic, which our record does not mention
The base is ceramic — not metal, not resin, not a ceramic-look finish. That matters for three reasons: it has real weight, so the lamp stays where you put it; it has a glazed depth of colour that paint on metal cannot reproduce; and it is cool and hard to the touch, which reads as a considered object rather than a light fitting. Our product record lists no material at all.
Fabric over ceramic — the classic pairing
A white fabric shade diffuses through its sides as well as its openings, so the lamp glows softly and throws light up and down. Against a hard glazed base that contrast — soft above, solid below — is the whole composition, and it is why ceramic-and-fabric lamps have been made this way for a century.
Well proportioned
530 mm tall and 350 mm wide. A generous shade on a substantial base — this is a proper bedside or console lamp, not a small accent piece.
Plug in and use it
Class II, double insulated, no earth required, on an 1,800 mm cable. No electrician, no installation.
One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied
Behind fabric a plain warm globe is all you need — a decorative filament would never be seen. Dimming is globe dependent: fit a dimmable globe and use a plug-in or inline dimmer.
⚠ The warranty needs confirming. The datasheet and our product record both say three years; the old page said one year, twice. Ask us and we will confirm with Telbix before you order.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
