The 24 W Nella is the largest body in Havit's surface mounted range and the one to reach for when a single fitting has to cover a lot of floor. Ø135 mm across and 180 mm deep in powder coated black or white aluminium, it produces between 1,554 and 1,968 lm depending on the colour setting selected.
Like the rest of the range it needs no cutout. The fitting mounts to a base fixed directly against the ceiling, so it can go where recessed downlights cannot — concrete slabs, rendered ceilings, timber linings, and any ceiling with no accessible cavity above it.
Five colour settings are selected on the fitting at installation, and output climbs with them: 1,554 lm at 2700K, 1,638 lm at 3000K, 1,796 lm at 4000K, 1,893 lm at 5000K and 1,968 lm at 5700K, through a 60° beam. That is a 414 lm spread across the range, so the colour decision has a real effect on how many fittings a room needs.
Colour rendering is CRI >90 with SDCM <3 binning, meaning fittings hold their colour against one another along a run and materials read accurately underneath. The deep baffle keeps the source out of direct view — the same recessed-aperture design that gives the range its "Nella Baffled" name on Havit's installation documentation.
This is the 240 V AC model: wired directly to mains with no driver in the circuit, Protection Class I with an earth connection required, and wired in parallel across a run. It is Triac dimmable and Havit lists the HV9625 Triac Dimmer as its compatible control.
At IP54 it is dust protected and shielded from splashing water in any direction, which suits eaves, alfresco ceilings and bathroom ceilings but not immersion or pressure jets. The body is IK08 impact rated with a lamp expectancy under 30,000 hours. Gold, black and chrome inserts fit the aperture, and a 3 m pendant accessory converts it to a suspended fitting — which reduces the assembly to IP20 and limits it to indoor dry areas.
The practical argument for the 24 W over two smaller fittings is fewer penetrations and fewer points of failure for the same light on the floor. The argument against it is that a single high-output source produces harder shadows than two spread ones, so in a room where you want even fill rather than emphasis, two 12 W bodies will usually read better than one 24 W.
Havit's 3 year replacement warranty applies. Because the 24 W is a physically large fitting, Lights For You lists it alongside the 7 W, 12 W and 18 W bodies so the diameter and drop can be weighed against the extra output before a ceiling is committed to it.
Between 1,554 lm and 1,968 lm through a 60° beam, depending on which of the five colour settings you select. The cooler settings give the higher figures, and the spread across the range is over 400 lm.
Ø135 mm across and 180 mm deep. It is the largest body in the Nella surface mounted range, so check the drop against your ceiling height and against any circulation space underneath.
No. It is surface mounted and fixes to a mounting base against the ceiling, so there is no cutout and no requirement for an accessible cavity above.
Not this model. It is the 240 V AC version, wired directly to mains. It is Protection Class I so an earth connection is required, and installation is work for a licensed electrician.
Yes — the 240 V model is Triac dimmable, with Havit's HV9625 Triac Dimmer listed as the compatible control. Use a dimmer rated for LED loads and check its minimum load against the number of fittings on the circuit.
Yes — this model is rated CRI >90 with SDCM <3 colour consistency, so materials render accurately and neighbouring fittings match each other along a run.
IP54 protects against dust and splashing water from any direction, which covers eaves, alfresco ceilings and bathroom ceilings. It is not rated for immersion or high-pressure water, so confirm the specific zone with your electrician.
