Spitze LED Garden Spike Light Kit

The Spitze LED Garden Spike Light Kit is a complete five-light garden run in one box, and it is the only fitting in this group you can install without specifying anything else. The kit contains five 3 W spike fittings, one WiFi receiver, one LED driver and a remote control. Colour is controlled rather than chosen at install: each fitting is RGBCW, so it does full colour plus 3000K warm white and 5500K cool white, driven from the remote or the TUYA app. That is the real decision — for a fixed white garden set once and never touched, a tri-colour spike light is simpler and cheaper.

What the kit needs, and what it does not

The driver is supplied, so you do not buy one separately. It runs from 240 V AC and outputs 24 V DC to the fittings, which means the light fittings themselves must never be connected directly to 240 V — they only ever see the supplied 24 V DC supply. The driver is class 2 and IP20, so it must be mounted in a dry protected position even though the fittings are outdoors. A further five fittings can be added, so a ten-light garden is one kit plus five extras.

Specifying it

Output is 5 × 180 lm at 3000K and 5 × 200 lm at 5500K across the kit, from 3 W fittings at a tight 36° beam — a beam that width is for hitting a trunk or a wall panel, not for washing a whole bed. Each fitting has 90° of tilt, a 162 mm spike and a 2000 mm cable with DIY connectors, and spikes into soil or surface mounts. Frosted glass diffuser, powder-coated aluminium in black, IP65 at the fittings, IK08 impact rating. The LEDs are built in — no globes are needed and none can be fitted. Dimmable, handled through the remote and app rather than a wall dimmer. Installation by a licensed electrician.
