Product Description
xThe HV5511CCT is the app-controlled member of the Prime range: the same 12 W aluminium body and Ø70 mm cut-out as the switched model, with a colour temperature that tunes continuously from 2700K to 6500K over Wi-Fi instead of being set once on installation. This listing carries the four metallic finishes — HV5511CCT-AB antique brass, HV5511CCT-BR brass, HV5511CCT-CP copper and HV5511CCT-NK nickel.
Tunable rather than selectable
A tri-colour downlight gives three fixed points chosen with a switch behind the fitting; once the ceiling is closed the decision is made. This one is driven by the TUYA app on a phone or tablet, so the same fitting can sit at 2700K for an evening and 5000K for a work morning, and a whole room can be moved together. Dimming is handled through the app as well rather than by a wall dimmer, which is worth knowing before wiring — there is no Triac dimmer in this product's circuit.
Output and light quality
Havit publishes 815 lm to 865 lm across the tuning range from a built-in 12 W LED, on the ordering row matched to these part numbers' own barcodes. Colour rendering is CRI >90, binning is SDCM <4 so one fitting matches the next across a run, and glare is held to UGR <22 behind a clear glass lens. The beam is 60°, the head is fixed with no tilt, and lamp expectancy is >50,000 hrs with an IK06 body.
IC-4, with the usual condition on the driver
Like the rest of the Prime range it is IC-4 rated without an accessory, and the same qualification applies: only the fitting may be covered, the driver must be mounted above any insulation covering the fixture so it can ventilate, and loose-fill insulation such as macerated paper or wool must not be used with this fixture.
Wiring, rating and warranty
It runs on 240 V AC and is supplied with a flex and plug, so it lands on a plug base in the ceiling like every other Prime. It is Protection Class 2 and needs no earth at the fitting. IP54 covers the front of the fitting only, so a bathroom or laundry ceiling is in scope and an exposed one is not — and a Wi-Fi fitting also needs to be within reach of the network from inside the ceiling. Havit's warranty line for this part number reads "3 Years replacement warranty". Lights For You lists the switched tri-colour HV5511T on the identical cut-out for anyone who would rather not put a light on an app.
Questions
How is the colour temperature changed?
Through the TUYA app on a phone or tablet, anywhere between 2700K and 6500K, and it can be changed as often as you like. There is no switch on the fitting and no wall dimmer in the circuit — brightness is set in the app as well.
What cut-out does it need?
Ø70 mm, with a body of Ø88 mm across the face by 70 mm deep — identical to the switched HV5511T, so the two models are interchangeable in an existing ceiling.
How much light does it give?
815 lm to 865 lm across the tuning range from a 12 W built-in LED. The figure comes from Havit’s current model data sheet, on the ordering row carrying these part numbers’ own barcodes, and is confirmed on Havit’s page for each of them.
Can it be used with a wall dimmer?
No. Havit lists dimming for this model as being done through the TUYA app, not by a Triac dimmer on the circuit. If you want a wall dimmer, the switched HV5511T on the same cut-out is the model to use.
Can it be covered by insulation?
The fitting is IC-4 rated and may be. The driver may not — Havit requires that the driver must be mounted above any insulation covering the fixture so it can ventilate, and that loose-fill insulation such as macerated paper or wool is not used with this fixture.
Does it need an earth?
No. It is Protection Class 2 and is supplied with a flex and plug for a plug base installed in the ceiling.
Do the four finishes differ in anything but colour?
No. Antique brass, brass, copper and nickel are powder-coat finishes on one body, listed together on a single ordering row with identical output, beam, cut-out and ratings.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
