This is the fixed deep Prime downlight with a full-colour RGBCW engine and Wi-Fi, on a Ø76 mm cut-out, in four coloured metal finishes — HV5513RGBCW-AB, HV5513RGBCW-BR, HV5513RGBCW-CP and HV5513RGBCW-NK. Same housing as the switched HV5513T, same hole, and a substantially different light behind the face.
Havit's ordering row for this model measures 300 lm at 3000K and 320 lm at 5500K on the white channel. The switched HV5513T on the identical housing at the identical 12 W measures 839 to 913 lm. Buying colour on this body therefore costs roughly two thirds of the white light, which nothing in the range name, the wattage or the price hints at. Plan the fitting count around 300 lm. The individual colours are quieter still — Havit measures red 15 lm, green 32 lm and blue 25 lm — because a single colour uses one of three emitters. Colour on a downlight like this is atmosphere; the white channel does the lighting.
The emitter sits well back from the face, and Havit rates this model UGR <19 — the low-glare figure the deep bodies are built for, and one that the tunable-white HV5513CCT on the same housing does not carry. On a colour fitting that matters more than it might sound: a saturated colour source in direct view is far more noticeable than a white one, and the recess is what keeps it out of the line of sight.
The diffuser is frosted perspex rather than the clear glass of the switched and tunable-white versions. Frosting is what mixes red, green and blue into one colour instead of showing three emitters, and it is why the beam opens to 120° where the others are 60°. That is the right optic for washing a ceiling or a wall in colour and the wrong one for picking out a picture.
Everything — colour, white point and level — is set from the TUYA app on a phone or tablet. Dimming happens in the app, not at the wall: there is no Triac driver here, so it must not go on a dimmer plate and should not share a dimmed circuit with the switched HV5513T.
It is IC-4 rated with Havit's conditions: only the LED fitting may sit under insulation, the driver must never be covered and must be mounted above any insulation covering the fixture, and the fixture must not be used with loose-fill insulation such as macerated paper or wool. The body is aluminium with a face of Ø84 mm, on 240 V AC, Protection Class 2 with no earth required at the fitting, IP54 at the front of the fitting only, CRI >90, SDCM <4, IK06, lamp expectancy >50,000 hrs. Havit's warranty line for these part numbers reads "3 Years replacement warranty (items ordered after 01/01/22)". Lights For You publishes no overall depth for this housing, because Havit's drawing carries two unlabelled figures and names neither.
300 lm at 3000K and 320 lm at 5500K on the white channel. The switched HV5513T on the same housing and the same 12 W gives 839–913 lm, so this is around a third of the white output. Plan the number of fittings around 300 lm rather than around the wattage.
A single colour uses only one of the three colour emitters. Havit measures red at 15 lm, green at 32 lm and blue at 25 lm. That is expected on a colour-mixing downlight — the colours set the mood and the white channel lights the room.
Ø76 mm, with a face of Ø84 mm. The Prime range also uses Ø70 mm and Ø90 mm holes on other bodies, so match the part number to the ceiling rather than the range name.
The diffuser. This model uses frosted perspex to blend the three colours, where the switched and tunable-white versions use clear glass. The frosting widens the beam, which suits a colour wash and does not suit accent lighting.
Yes — Havit rates this model UGR <19, the same low-glare figure as the switched HV5513T. It is the reason to choose the deep body over the shallow HV5511 and HV5512 housings, and it matters more on a colour fitting because a saturated source in direct view is very noticeable.
No. It is dimmed in the TUYA app, and Havit does not list it as Triac dimmable, so it should not be wired to a dimmer plate or share a dimmed circuit with the switched version of this body.
It is IC-4 rated, but only the LED fitting may be covered. The driver must never be covered and must be mounted above any insulation covering the fixture, and loose-fill insulation such as macerated paper or wool must not be used with this fixture at all.
