Prime Coloured Fixed Deep WIFI Downlight 76mm Cutout

This is the fixed deep Prime downlight with a tunable white engine and Wi-Fi, on a Ø76 mm cut-out, in four coloured metal finishes — HV5513CCT-AB, HV5513CCT-BR, HV5513CCT-CP and HV5513CCT-NK. It shares the recessed housing and the hole of the switched HV5513T and changes how the white is chosen and how the fitting is dimmed.

One fitting, the whole white range

The colour temperature runs continuously from 2700K to 6500K from the TUYA app on a phone or tablet, rather than being set once to one of three fixed points. That span is wider at both ends than the switched model reaches, and it can be changed after the ceiling is closed — which is what makes it worth the difference in a room whose use changes through the day. Output holds at 815 lm to 865 lm right across that range from a built-in 12 W LED, so tuning the white costs at most about 6% of the light.

Dimming happens in the app

There is no Triac driver in this version. Dimming is done in the app, not at the wall, so it must not be wired to a dimmer plate and should not share a dimmed circuit with the switched HV5513T, which is Triac dimmable. Both take the identical Ø76 mm hole, so a decision between them is reversible later without recutting the ceiling.

A glare figure that does not follow the family

The deep Prime housings generally publish a lower discomfort-glare rating than the shallow ones. This model is the exception inside its own body: Havit's dated data sheet for the HV5513CCT gives UGR <22, where the HV5513T and HV5513RGBCW on the same housing are rated <19. Lights For You publishes the figure on each model's own sheet rather than the one its siblings carry, because a glare rating read across from a neighbouring model is not a measurement of this one. If the low glare figure is what you are buying, the switched HV5513T is the model that carries it.

Insulation and the IC-4 condition

It is IC-4 rated, qualified in Havit's installation instructions: only the LED fitting may sit under insulation, the driver must never be covered and must be mounted above any insulation covering the fixture so it can ventilate, and the fixture must not be used with loose-fill insulation such as macerated paper or wool.

Body, rating and warranty

The body is aluminium behind a clear glass diffuser, with a face of Ø84 mm, running on 240 V AC with flex and plug supplied. Protection Class 2, so no earth is required at the fitting, and IP54 at the front of the fitting only — the plenum side carries no rating, so this is an indoor recessed downlight. CRI >90, SDCM <4, IK06, lamp expectancy >50,000 hrs, beam 60°. Havit's warranty line for these part numbers reads "3 Years replacement warranty (items ordered after 01/01/22)". As on the switched model, no overall depth is published here — Havit's drawing carries two unlabelled figures and does not say which is the housing depth.
