This listing sells the Ø90 mm deep Prime RGBCW in both plain finishes — HV5514RGBCW-BLK and HV5514RGBCW-WHT. It is a 12 W recessed wifi downlight: white light that tunes, colour channels that change, and all of it set from the Tuya app.
The output is 300 lm at 3000K and 320 lm at 5500K. The switched tri-colour Prime in the same Ø90 mm deep body, at the same 12 W, measures 839–913 lm — so an RGBCW fitting gives roughly a third of the light, and the coloured channels are dimmer again. Nothing in the range name, the wattage or the price says so. Choose RGBCW where colour is the reason for the fitting; choose the tri-colour or tunable-white Prime where the room actually has to be lit, and mix the two in one ceiling if you want both.
Dimming, white colour temperature and RGB colour are all handled in the Tuya app. There is no wall dimmer in this circuit and it must not be put on one. The white channel tunes across 3000K to 5500K on this model's dated data sheet. ⚠ Havit's own page copy calls the cool point 6500K instead; the two are not reconciled in its material, so the dated sheet's pairing is published here and the disagreement is stated.
The cut-out is Ø90 mm and the visible face is Ø105 mm. This is the deep body, so it needs more plenum than the shallow Ø90 mm Prime that fits the same hole — and the two are interchangeable in an existing 90 mm cut only if the ceiling has the depth for this one. Havit's drawing prints two unlabelled figures for the body, and neither document says which is the overall depth, so no depth is published here. Measure the space above the ceiling before ordering.
This model has two data sheets in circulation and they disagree. The dated sheet that carries these two part numbers and their barcodes gives one set of figures for the diffuser material, the impact rating and the glare rating; Havit's six-finish sheet for the same model gives a different set for all three. Neither is obviously the later document. Rather than pick one and print it as fact, this page publishes none of the three and says why. Everything else — the cut-out, the output, the beam, the electrical class, the IC rating, the colour rendering and the warranty — is stated identically by both documents and is published normally.
The fitting is IC-4 rated, so insulation may abut and cover it. The driver is a separate condition: Havit requires the driver to be mounted above any insulation covering the fixture and never covered by it, and no loose-fill insulation may be used over the installation. "IC-4" describes the fitting only.
It runs on 240 V AC and is Protection Class 2, so no earth is required at the fitting. The face is rated IP54, front of the fitting only: the aperture resists splashing and the body above the ceiling does not, which makes it an interior fitting under a covered ceiling. Colour rendering is CRI >90 on a 120° beam, and the housing is aluminium. Warranty is 3 years replacement. Lights For You publishes here only what Havit's own documents state against these two part numbers, and names the specifications those documents contradict each other on.
No. It gives 300 lm at 3000K and 320 lm at 5500K, against 839–913 lm from the switched tri-colour Prime in the same 12 W deep Ø90 mm body — roughly a third of the light. The colour is what you are buying.
Entirely through the Tuya app over wifi. It is not dimmed from a wall dimmer and must not be wired to a Triac dimmer.
Ø90 mm, with a Ø105 mm face covering the edge. It is a deep body, so check the space above the ceiling as well as the hole size.
Because Havit publishes two data sheets for this model and they give different answers for all three. Rather than choose one and present it as fact, the page states that they disagree. Every other specification here is identical in both documents.
The fitting is IC-4 rated so insulation may cover it, but the driver must sit above any insulation and must never be covered, and loose-fill insulation may not be used over the installation.
No — it is Protection Class 2, double insulated. It is still installed by a licensed electrician.
Yes, and it is often the sensible plan: use the tri-colour or tunable-white Prime for the light and a few RGBCW for colour. Both fit a Ø90 mm cut-out in this body size.
