This listing sells the Ø76 mm deep Prime RGBCW in both plain finishes — HV5513RGBCW-BLK and HV5513RGBCW-WHT. It is a 12 W recessed downlight with a wifi radio in it: the white light tunes, the colour channels change, and everything is set from the Tuya app rather than from a switch on the wall.
An RGBCW Prime is much dimmer than the switched or tunable-white Prime of the same size and the same 12 W. Havit measures this model at 300 lm at 3000K and 320 lm at 5500K, against 839–913 lm for the tri-colour HV5513T in the identical Ø76 mm body. That is roughly a third of the light for the same wattage and a similar price, and the red, green and blue channels are dimmer again — colour light is a fraction of white light on any RGB fitting, and the figures on Havit's sheet make that explicit. Specify this where the colour is the point — a media room, a bar, a display niche, a child's room — and specify the tri-colour or CCT Prime where the room has to be lit.
Dimming and colour are handled in the Tuya app, not at the wall. There is no Triac dimmer behind this fitting and it should not be put on one. The white channel tunes across 3000K to 5500K on this model's own dated data sheet. ⚠ Havit's page copy for the same part numbers describes the cool point as 6500K instead, and the two are not reconciled anywhere in its material, so the sheet's pairing is what is published here and the disagreement is stated rather than hidden.
The cut-out is Ø76 mm and the face measures Ø84 mm, so there is about 4 mm of trim all round to cover the edge of the hole. This is a deep body — that is what the shallow and deep halves of the Prime range differ by, and it is why this model is rated UGR <19 where the shallow Ø90 mm Prime is <22: the source sits further back from the aperture. Havit's drawing carries two unlabelled figures for the body, so no overall depth is published here; measure the plenum before committing to a deep body in a shallow ceiling.
The fitting is IC-4 rated, so insulation may abut and cover it. The driver is a separate question: Havit's installation sheet requires the driver to be mounted above any insulation covering the fixture and never covered by it, and forbids loose-fill insulation over the installation. The two conditions travel together and only the first one is what "IC-4" names.
It runs on 240 V AC and is Protection Class 2, so no earth is required at the fitting, and it is supplied with a flex and plug. The face is rated IP54, front of the fitting only — the aperture resists splashing, the body above the ceiling does not, so this is a covered interior fitting and not an exterior one. The body is aluminium behind a frosted perspex diffuser, IK06, with colour rendering CRI >90 and colour consistency SDCM <4, on a 120° beam. Warranty is 3 years replacement. Lights For You publishes here only what this model's own data sheet states against these two part numbers and their barcodes.
No, and this is the main thing to know. Havit measures it at 300 lm at 3000K and 320 lm at 5500K, against 839–913 lm for the tri-colour HV5513T in the same Ø76 mm body — roughly a third of the light for the same 12 W. Buy it for the colour, not for the light.
Through the Tuya app over wifi — brightness, white colour temperature and RGB colour. It is not dimmed from a wall dimmer and must not be put on a Triac dimmer.
Ø76 mm. The visible face is Ø84 mm, so about 4 mm of trim covers the edge of the cut.
The fitting is IC-4 rated, so insulation may cover it. The driver may not — Havit requires the driver to sit above any insulation and never be covered, and no loose-fill insulation may be used over the installation.
No. It is Protection Class 2, double insulated, and is supplied with a flex and plug. It is still a licensed electrician’s installation.
It is IP54 at the front of the fitting only, which means the visible face resists splashing while the body above the ceiling is not rated. It is an interior fitting for a covered ceiling.
The hole, and the glare figure. This one cuts Ø76 mm; the other cuts Ø90 mm. Both are deep bodies with the same 12 W engine and the same output.
