CLARION TWIN EXTERIOR SPOT SENSOR

The Clarion EX2S is a twin exterior spot with a motion sensor — 2 × 10 W giving 1,800 lm, three colour temperatures, a 90° beam, IP54 — in black.

Two heads, aimed separately

Each spot adjusts independently, so one fitting covers two directions at once — a driveway and a side gate, a path and a doorway. That is the practical case for a twin over two singles: one sensor, one cable run, two areas covered.

The sensor is the reason to buy it — and we cannot tell you its range

Motion detection means the light only runs when something moves, which on a security fitting is the whole economy of it. But no source records the detection range, the detection angle, the time delay or the lux threshold — the four numbers that decide whether a sensor light actually suits your driveway. Ask us and we will get them from Telbix before you commit.

1,800 lumens, and a 90° beam

Genuinely bright — enough to light a driveway, a yard or a side access properly. The 90° beam is wide: it covers ground rather than picking out a feature, which is what security lighting is for.

Three colour temperatures, up to 6000 K

3000, 4000 or 6000 K — and note that the cool setting here is 6000 K daylight, cooler than the usual 5000 K. Cool light reads as brighter at the same output and renders detail crisply, which matters if a camera is watching the same area. Warm at 3000 K is the choice if the fitting is somewhere people gather.

Double insulated, and light

Class II — no earth required, in polycarbonate, at 0.47 kg. Nothing to corrode and fewer connections to make.

Four in the range

Clarion is made as a single and a twin, each with or without a sensor. If you want the light on a switch rather than on motion, ask us for the non-sensor version.

Two integrated LEDs totalling 20 W and 1,800 lm, included, switchable 3000/4000/6000 K, CRI >80, beam 90°, motion sensor fitted. Not dimmable. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, IP54 — sheltered outdoor positions. Warranty: three years domestic, TWO years commercial.
