Product Description
xThe Frya 40 is the larger of the two rattan pendants — ø400 mm against the Frya 30's ø300 mm. Same woven shade, same iron frame, one light. The number is the diameter in centimetres, not a light count.
The extra 100 mm changes what it is for
At ø400 mm the Frya becomes a fitting that can work alone over a table or island, where the 30 really wants to be one of a group. If you are hanging a single pendant, this is the size; if you are hanging three in a row, the 30 usually sits better.
Woven rattan casts a pattern
Light escapes between the weave, so the fitting throws a pattern onto the ceiling and surrounding walls as well as lighting the surface below. A clear globe makes that pattern sharp; a frosted one softens it. If you want a clean pool of light and nothing on the ceiling, this is the wrong shade.
Three finishes
Natural is the pale, unstained rattan and the warmest. Brown is a mid tone that sits with timber joinery. Black reads as silhouette rather than texture and is the most graphic.

Specifying it
Shade ø400 mm, height 230 mm, weight 1.1 kg, suspension 1,500 mm shortened at installation. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. Iron and rattan. It runs on 240 V, is IP20 and indoor only, and is Class I — an earth is required. Dimming is globe dependent. Warranty is three years.

Is this a 40-light pendant?
No — it is a ONE-light fitting. The 40 refers to its ø400 mm diameter.
How does it compare to the Frya 30?
Same design, 100 mm wider. The 40 works alone over a table; the 30 sits better in a group of two or three.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately.
What sort of light does it give?
Light escapes through the weave, so it casts a pattern on the ceiling and walls as well as lighting below. A clear globe sharpens the pattern.
What finishes are there?
Natural, brown and black.
How heavy is it?
1.1 kg, on a 1,500 mm suspension shortened at installation.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
