Proline Slim linear LED pendant — 1200mm or 1600mm

A slim linear pendant in aluminium, sold in two lengths and two finishes: HV6005T at 1200mm drawing 40W and HV6006T at 1600mm drawing 50W, each in black or white — four part numbers on this page.

This is a working linear pendant rather than a decorative one. At 40W and 50W it produces enough light to be the primary source over a long table, an island or a meeting table, which is what separates it from the low-output linear fittings usually hung for effect.

Two lengths

HV6005T at 1200mm suits a standard dining table or a domestic island. HV6006T at 1600mm is for a long table, a large island, or a commercial or office setting where the surface runs further.

Choose the length against the surface below rather than the room. A linear pendant that overhangs the ends of a table looks wrong even when the light is right, so it should sit comfortably within the table's length.

Output and colour temperature

The 1200mm version is rated at 3000lm, 3270lm and 3440lm across its three colour settings; the 1600mm version at 3750lm, 4080lm and 4300lm. Both are tri-colour, with 3000K, 4000K or 5500K selected on the fitting at installation rather than fixed at manufacture, and colour rendering above 80 CRI.

The beam is 120°, spreading light along the full length of the fitting rather than dropping it in a line down the middle. Over a dining table 3000K keeps the room warm; over a work surface or in an office 4000K is generally the better setting.

Triac dimming

The Proline Slim is Triac dimmable and works with a conventional LED-rated wall dimmer without an extra module on the circuit. At this output the dimming is not optional in practice — a 4300lm pendant over a dining table at full output is a working light, not a dinner one.

Power and installation

It runs on 240V AC mains and requires no driver. It is a Class 1 fitting and requires an earth, so installation is work for a licensed electrician. It is rated IP20 and IK05 — a dry-interior fitting, not for a bathroom wet zone or a covered outdoor area.

The suspension is adjustable, but the two things that decide how a linear pendant looks are set at the ceiling: it has to hang level along its whole length, and square to the surface below. Confirm the fixing points against the table position before the ceiling is closed.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
