The Moran 18 light is the longest fitting in its family — 2,000 mm of linear suspension carrying eighteen mouth-blown glass globes. Two metres is a serious span, and it is the first thing to check: this is a fitting for a long table, a long island or a boardroom, and it will overwhelm anything shorter.
At 2,000 mm the Moran 18 wants a table of about 2.4 m or longer so there is timber showing past the glass at both ends. If your table is nearer 1.8 m, the 14 light version at 1,500 mm is the right one; for a round table or a stairwell there is a vertical 3 light. All three are the same design language, so mixing them across adjoining rooms works.
This is not a fitting that hangs from a single point. The canopy runs 850 mm along the ceiling, so the mounting must land on structure across that length, and the ceiling box has to sit beneath it. Sort this out with the electrician before the ceiling is closed, not after.
Each holder takes a G9 globe up to 6 W, giving 108 W across the fitting, and no globes are included. Order eighteen, all the same brand and colour temperature, plus a couple of spares. Eighteen visible globes is the least forgiving place in the house to have one lamp that is slightly warmer than the rest. Dimming is globe dependent.
Overall length is 2,000 mm, body height 245 mm, and each glass shade is ø100 mm. Eighteen G9 holders at 6 W give 108 W total. It runs on 240 V, is IP20 and indoor only, and assembly is required. RCM approved. Warranty is three years. Clean with a dry cloth only.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Given the span and the assembly, allow proper time on site — this is not a fitting to hang in the last hour of a job.
2,000 mm overall, with a body height of 245 mm and ø100 mm glass shades.
About 2.4 m or longer. For a 1.8 m table choose the 14 light at 1,500 mm instead.
Eighteen G9 globes of up to 6 W each — 108 W in total. None are supplied.
Through an 850 mm canopy, so the fixing must land on structure across that length. Confirm this with your electrician before the ceiling is closed.
Globe dependent. Fit dimmable G9 globes and a compatible dimmer.
Yes. It is supplied with basic mounting screws and instructions, and must be installed by a licensed electrician.
Three years, as a replacement warranty.
