Eamon Pendant Light 6Lt

The Eamon is a ø650 mm circular frame carrying six mouth-blown opal matt cylinders. The ring is the design: the shades hang from a hand-crafted circle rather than a bar, so it reads as a halo above a table rather than a line.

A ring suits a round table

Where a linear pendant follows a rectangular table, this one answers a round or square one. At 650 mm it wants a table of about 1.1 m or more so the ring stays within the table footprint. The family also includes an 8 light pendant and a 2 light wall lamp, so a dining room and its adjoining hallway can be done as a set.

Six E14 globes, none supplied

Each cylinder takes an E14 globe up to 25 W — 150 W across the fitting, and none are included. Note E14 is the smaller screw base, not the common E27 — check what you have before assuming spares will fit. Buy six identical globes plus a spare.

Opal matt is the forgiving choice

The cylinders are opal matt rather than clear, so the globes are diffused and a plain lamp works. That also means the fitting is comfortable to sit under at a dining table, where six visible filaments at eye level would not be.

Specifying it

Diameter ø650 mm, height 220 mm, in iron and glass, black or brass with opal matt shades. Six E14 holders, 150 W total. It runs on 240 V, is IP20 and indoor only, and is Class I — an earth is required. Warranty is three years.
