Find the right globe for this fitting
Product Description
xThe Bodum is a ø520 mm four-light pendant combining clear and opal glass, in black matt or nickel matt, on a 2 m adjustable chain.
Clear and opal together, not one or the other
Most pendants pick a side. Bodum uses both — clear glass to let the globe show and throw sparkle, opal to diffuse and soften. The result is a fitting that has visible highlights without the glare of an all-clear pendant over a table.
2 m of adjustable chain
Chain suspension rather than cable, adjustable up to 2,000 mm. That is a lot of range: it will drop into a stairwell or double-height void, or shorten right up for a standard ceiling. Set the height on site with the fitting in place.
ø520 mm suits a real table
Just over half a metre across and 640 mm tall — substantial without being a statement piece. It sits comfortably over a four to six seat dining table or a kitchen island.
Four E14 globes
Note the base: E14 small Edison screw, 25 W maximum, not the more common E27. We list globes as not supplied — our supplier sheet says they are included but our record does not confirm it, and we would rather you had four globes on hand than none.
Where it works
- Over four to six seat dining tables.
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars.
- Stairwells and voids, using the full chain length.
- Bedrooms, at a shortened drop.
Specifying it
ø520 mm, 640 mm high, suspension 2,000 mm adjustable chain, in black matt or nickel matt with clear and opal glass. Four E14 globes to 25 W each, listed as not supplied. 240 V, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is one year, shorter than the three years most of the Telbix range carries.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Questions
Are globes included?
We list them as not included. Our supplier sheet says they are and our record does not confirm it — we would rather you had four E14 globes ready than an unlit pendant on installation day.
What globe base does it take?
E14 small Edison screw, 25 W maximum — not the more common E27.
How low can it hang?
Up to 2,000 mm on an adjustable chain, so it will reach into a stairwell or shorten right up for a standard ceiling.
How big is it?
ø520 mm across and 640 mm tall — suited to a four to six seat table or a kitchen island.
Why does it use two kinds of glass?
Clear lets the globe show and throws sparkle; opal diffuses and softens. Together you get highlights without the glare of an all-clear pendant.
What finishes are there?
Black matt or nickel matt, both with clear and opal glass.
What is the warranty?
One year — shorter than most of the Telbix catalogue.
