Product Description
xThe Bally 10 is the smaller sphere in the Bally family — a ø250 mm blasted opal glass ball on a short metal stem, against the ø300 mm of the Bally 12. Same design, smaller scale, and that changes how you use it.
At 250 mm it belongs in a group
A ø250 mm sphere works best as one of several — three over an island, a pair over a bench, or a cluster at staggered heights in a void. On its own over a dining table it will read as undersized; the Bally 12 at ø300 mm is the single-fitting version.
Blasted opal hides the globe completely
The glass is finely blasted rather than clear, so the sphere glows evenly with no visible lamp and no bright point to squint at from any angle. That is what makes it comfortable at eye level over a bench or beside a stair. A plain globe is all it needs — a decorative filament is wasted inside it.
Four finishes
Antique gold, black and nickel each with opal matt glass, plus antique gold with Alabastro — a milkier glass with more internal variation.
Where it works
- Kitchen islands, in rows of three at even centres.
- Bedsides, hung low in place of table lamps.
- Stairwells and voids, clustered at staggered heights.
- Hallways, singly where a small sphere suits the scale.
Specifying it
Sphere ø250 mm, canopy ø65 mm with 85 mm projection. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. Beam is effectively 360° — a sphere throws light in every direction. It runs on 240 V and is IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. If you are hanging a row, measure the centres before fixing — uneven spacing on identical spheres is the first thing the eye finds.

How big is it?
A ø250 mm sphere — smaller than the ø300 mm Bally 12.
Should I buy one or several?
Several. At ø250 mm it works best in a group of three over an island or a cluster in a void. For a single fitting, the Bally 12 is the right size.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately. A plain globe is fine — the blasted glass hides it entirely.
What is Alabastro?
A milkier glass with more internal variation than the plain opal matt, offered with the antique gold frame.
Which way does the light go?
In every direction — a sphere is effectively a 360° source.
Can it go in a bathroom?
No. It is IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.
What is the warranty?
Three years.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
