The Astrid 33 is the smaller of the two Astrid oysters — ø330 mm and 18 W against the 43's ø400 mm and 30 W. Same satin trim ring in four finishes, including oak.

A trim ring makes it a fitting, not a default

Plain oysters are white discs. The satin ring in black, chrome, oak or silver gives the Astrid an edge and a material. The oak option in particular suits timber joinery in a way no white oyster can.

Which Astrid to choose

The ø330 mm at 1,400 lm suits a bedroom, a hallway or a bathroom — rooms where 2,400 lm would be too much. The ø400 mm Astrid 43 is the living-room size, and it is confirmed dimmable where this one is not.

Good colour for a ceiling fitting

CRI above 83 is well beyond a budget oyster, and a 140° spread covers a room evenly rather than pooling. Colour temperature is switchable at installation.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
