Product Description
xThe Lesen is an indoor adjustable wall light: a compact aluminium body on a surface-mounted plate, with a head that can be turned to aim the light where it is wanted. What separates it from most wall lights at this size is the control — it is touch dimming, built into the fitting itself, so brightness is set by touching the fitting rather than by a dimmer on the wall or a switch in the board.
The choice to make
The decision is finish, and there are four: antique brass (HV3689T-AB), black (HV3689T-BLK), black brass (HV3689T-BLKBR) and white (HV3689T-WHT). All four are the same fitting at the same price with identical output, so this is purely how it should read against the wall — the brasses for warmth against timber or a dark paint, the black or white to disappear into a plaster wall.
Colour temperature is tri-colour, set at install, and the output does not simply climb: 85 lm at 3000K, 110 lm at 4000K and 105 lm at 5500K. These are deliberately modest figures. The Lesen is an accent and reading-adjacent fitting — a bedside light, a picture wash, a hallway marker — not a fitting intended to light a room.
Where it works
- Either side of a bed as a reading or ambient light, with the dimming set by touch.
- Hallways and stairwells, aimed to graze the wall.
- Beside artwork or a mirror, angled onto the subject.
- Living areas as a layered accent alongside the main lighting.
Specifying it
The rating is the specification that decides where this fitting may be used: IP20 means indoor only. It has no protection against water and must not be installed outdoors, in a bathroom zone, on a porch or anywhere that takes splashing or condensation. That is a hard limit, not a preference.
Electrically it is 240 V AC, wired to mains with no driver, and it is protection class 1 — an earth is required at the fitting, so it is not a swap for a class 2 fitting without checking the existing wiring. The 5 W LED is built in, so there is no globe to buy or replace. Dimming is by touch on the fitting and needs no wall dimmer; do not add one to the circuit, because the dimming is already handled inside the fitting. Questions
Can the Lesen be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. It is IP20, which means indoor use only with no protection against water. It must not be installed outdoors, in a bathroom zone, or anywhere exposed to splashing or condensation.
How is it dimmed?
By touch, on the fitting itself. The dimming is built in, so it does not need — and should not have — a wall dimmer on the circuit.
Which colour temperature is brightest?
The middle setting. It produces 85 lm at 3000K, 110 lm at 4000K and 105 lm at 5500K, so 4000K is brightest rather than the coolest.
What globe does it take?
None. The 5 W LED is built into the fitting, so there is nothing to buy with it and nothing to replace.
Which finishes are available?
Four: antique brass, black, black brass and white. All are the same fitting at the same price with identical output.
Does it need an earth?
Yes. It is protection class 1, so an earth is required at the fitting. Check the existing wiring before swapping it in for a class 2 fitting.
Is it bright enough to light a room?
No, and it is not meant to. At 85–110 lm it is an accent and bedside fitting that layers with your main lighting rather than replacing it.
What warranty applies?
A 3-year replacement warranty.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
