HV3623T-WHT - Quadru Square White TRI Colour Fixed Down LED Wall Light

The white Quadru is the same compact square fixed-down wall light as the black version, chosen when the wall it sits on is light and you want the fitting to disappear into it. The more important thing about it is the socket: this is a GU10 fitting with a replaceable globe, not a sealed LED. That means it can be re-lamped for the cost of a globe rather than replaced, and the colour temperature can be changed later by swapping globes. It is IP54, which decides where it can go before anything else does.

Sheltered positions only

IP54 is splash protection, not weather protection. The white Quadru belongs under an eave, in a covered porch, under an alfresco roof or in a carport — positions where rain never lands directly on the fitting. On an open facade water will eventually reach the globe cavity, which is both a failure and a safety issue. Fully exposed positions need an IP65 fitting instead.

• Under an eave beside an entry door on a white or light rendered wall.
• Covered verandahs and porch ceilings' side walls, washing light down onto decking.
• Roofed alfresco walls, downlighting a servery or a doorway.
• Carports and covered walkways where the fitting should not be visible by day.

Specifying it

HV3623T-WHT is 240 V AC — wired straight to mains, no driver, earthed as a Class I fitting. The GU10 globe is replaceable and no other base will fit, since GU10 is a twist-lock two-pin socket. The globe is not included, so check the maximum wattage on the fitting's own label before choosing one; going above that limit is a fire risk and voids the warranty. Tri-colour output across the range is 270 lm at 3000K, 300 lm at 4000K and 300 lm at 5500K. Aluminium body with clear glass, IP54, IK08. Covered by a 3-year replacement warranty.
