Product Description
xThis is the large E27 Taper — the same wedge profile scaled up to take a standard screw-base globe at 9 W and 740 lm. It is roughly two and a half times the output of the GU10 and MR16 versions, which makes it the one to specify when a wedge has to do real lighting work rather than mark a wall.
Why the E27 changes the job
A 120° beam from a 740 lm lamp covers a genuinely wide field, so a single fitting can light a whole entry or a section of path that would need three of the smaller wedges. The trade is size: the body has to be bigger to take an E27, so it sits further off the wall. Choose it for output, not for discretion.
Where it works
- Entry and side-access walls that need real light rather than an accent.
- Wide paths and driveways, where a 120° beam covers ground a narrow beam cannot.
- Coastal positions in 316 stainless; copper where a patina is wanted.
- Sheltered and semi-exposed walls — IP44 covers rain and splashing.
Specifying it
It takes a replaceable E27 globe, supplied at 9 W: 700 lm at 3000 K, 720 lm at 4000 K and 740 lm at 5500 K, across a 120° beam. It runs on 240 V AC with no driver. Frosted tempered glass, IP44, CRI above 80, not dimmable with the globe supplied. Four finishes: black, white, 316 stainless steel and copper.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Because the globe is a standard E27, you can change the character of the light later — a warmer lamp for an entry, a brighter one for a driveway — without touching the fitting.

Does it need a driver?
No. It runs on 240 V AC and takes a mains-voltage E27 globe.
How bright is it?
700 lm at 3000 K, 720 lm at 4000 K and 740 lm at 5500 K from the supplied 9 W lamp.
Is the globe replaceable?
Yes. It takes a standard E27 screw-base globe.
How is it different from the GU10 and MR16 Tapers?
Roughly two and a half times the output, across a wider 120° beam, in a larger body. Specify it where a wedge has to light rather than accent.
Can it be dimmed?
Not with the globe supplied. A dimmable E27 lamp and a compatible dimmer can achieve it.
Which finish near the ocean?
316 stainless steel — the marine grade.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
