The white Kaval is the quietest of the family — a small powder-coated body that disappears against a rendered or painted wall so all you see is the light it lays down. That makes it the sensible pick for a modern white or off-white facade where a dark fitting would read as a row of dots at night. It is a surface-mounted fitting, so no cavity or cut-out is needed, but it is low voltage, and that is the part to plan for before your electrician arrives.

The 12 V decision

HV3285T-WHT-12V runs on 12 V DC and requires a 12 V DC LED driver sized for the total load on the circuit. It must never be connected directly to 240 V. Keep the fitting within 25 m of the driver — that is a warranty limit, not a suggestion, because beyond it the voltage arriving at the LED falls outside the rated range. As a Class III fitting no earth is required at the light itself, so a garden run of several Kavals off one driver stays straightforward.

A 1.5 W COB LED is built into the fitting: no globe, no socket, nothing to replace. Tri-colour selection covers 3000K, 4000K and 5500K, at 100 lm, 110 lm and 105 lm respectively — a modest, deliberate output for accent work rather than area lighting. The body is IP65 with a clear glass diffuser and IK08 impact rating. It is triac dimmable provided the driver is dimmable too. A 3-year replacement warranty applies.
