HV3284T-WHT-12V - Patra White Surface Mounted LED Wall Light

The white Patra is the version to specify on a pale wall. On white render, light brick or off-white cladding a powder-coated white body is far less visible by day than any metal finish, so the run reads as a series of light points at night and as almost nothing in daylight. The fitting is a small surface-mounted marker light with a built-in LED behind clear glass, drawing 1.5 W to define an edge or a step. It is 12 V: HV3284T-WHT-12V requires a 12 V DC LED driver and must never be connected directly to 240 V power.

The choice to make

This listing is the white finish. Your remaining decisions are the driver, the spacing and the colour temperature, selected on the fitting: 100 lm at 3000K, 110 lm at 4000K and 105 lm at 5500K. On white render, a warm 3000K keeps the wall looking creamy and residential, while 5500K pushes it towards a cooler, more architectural white — a decision worth making on site with a sample rather than on paper.

Specifying it

The Patra requires a 12 V DC LED driver and must be installed no more than 25 m from it — a warranty limit, because voltage drop over a longer run reduces output and shortens LED life. Do not connect the fitting directly to 240 V power. It is Class 3 low voltage and needs no earth. The LED is built in, so no globe is needed and none can be fitted. It is rated IP65, with IP67 also recorded, giving protection against direct rain and coastal weather, and carries an IK08 impact rating behind a clear glass diffuser. Rated life is under 30,000 hours. It is Triac dimmable, which on a 12 V circuit means a Triac-dimmable driver.
