HV3284T-BLK-12V - Patra Black Surface Mounted LED Wall Light

The black Patra is a small surface-mounted exterior wall light with a built-in LED behind clear glass, intended as a marker rather than a source of area light. Black is the finish that disappears: on a charcoal wall, a dark cladding or a shadow line the fitting reads as almost nothing by day and only the light is visible at night. At 1.5 W it defines edges and steps rather than illuminating a space. It is 12 V — HV3284T-BLK-12V requires a 12 V DC LED driver and must never be connected directly to 240 V power.

The choice to make

This listing is the black finish. What is left to decide is the driver, the spacing and the colour temperature, which is selectable on the fitting: 100 lm at 3000K, 110 lm at 4000K and 105 lm at 5500K. Warm 3000K keeps a residential feel along an alfresco wall; the cooler settings suit a more contemporary or functional read on a step run.

Specifying it

A 12 V DC LED driver is required, and the fitting must sit no more than 25 m from it — a warranty limit, because voltage drop over a longer cable run reduces output and shortens LED life. Do not connect it directly to 240 V. It is Class 3 low voltage, so no earth is needed. The LED is built in: no globe is required and none can be fitted. It is rated IP65, with IP67 also recorded on the datasheet, so it handles direct rain and coastal weather. The diffuser is clear glass, impact rating IK08 and rated life under 30,000 hours. It is Triac dimmable, which on a low-voltage circuit requires a Triac-dimmable driver.
