Product Description
xThe Fortis is the twin-lamp member of this family — two GU10 globes in one 304-stainless body, both facing down. Where the single-lamp Piaz marks a pillar, the Fortis lights it, because two 5 W lamps side by side produce a wider, more even wash than one lamp can.
Two lamps, one fitting
The practical difference is coverage rather than brightness. Two sources spaced apart in the body overlap into a broader field with softer edges, so a wide pillar or a section of rendered wall is lit evenly instead of showing a single bright scallop. The cost is two globes to replace instead of one.
Where it works
- Wide driveway pillars and gate posts, where one lamp would leave the edges dark.
- Entry walls needing an even wash rather than a single pool of light.
- Coastal and poolside positions — 304 stainless with no paint film to blister.
- Covered entries and under eaves — IP54 covers rain and splashing.
Specifying it
It takes two GU10 globes, supplied at 5 W each: 270 lm at 3000 K, 285 lm at 4000 K and 300 lm at 5500 K per lamp, on a 120° beam. Do not exceed 35 W in either 240 V GU10 socket. It runs on 240 V AC with no driver, IP54, CRI above 80, and is not dimmable with the globes supplied.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Fit both globes from the same batch and at the same colour temperature — two lamps in one fitting make a mismatch obvious in a way a single lamp never does.

Does it need a driver?
No. It runs on 240 V AC and takes mains-voltage GU10 globes.
What is the maximum globe wattage?
35 W in each 240 V GU10 socket. This is a thermal limit on the fitting.
How is it different from the single-lamp version?
Two lamps spaced apart give a wider, more even wash rather than more brightness in one spot. Better for a wide pillar.
How bright is it?
Per lamp: 270 lm at 3000 K, 285 lm at 4000 K and 300 lm at 5500 K, on a 120° beam.
Can it be dimmed?
Not with the globes supplied. Dimmable GU10 lamps and a compatible dimmer can achieve it.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
