Halo LED Wall Light RGBW 7w in Black or White Havit Lighting - HV3591RGBW

This is the colour-changing Halo: the same 7 W up-and-down disc, but with RGB plus a 3000K white channel instead of tri-colour switching. Practically that means two different jobs from one fitting — warm white for everyday use at the door, and colour when you want the facade or the pool wall to do something else for an evening. It is the smallest RGBW in the family, so it suits porches, courtyards and positions near eye level. Output is 250 lm, deliberately lower than the tri-colour version: colour mixing costs light, and this fitting is bought for effect rather than illumination.

The 12 V requirement

HV3591RGBW-BLK and HV3591RGBW-WHT run on 12 V DC only. Each requires a 12 V DC LED driver rated for the combined load of the fittings on the circuit, and must never be connected directly to 240 V — that destroys the fitting and is not covered. Being Class III it needs no earth at the light, which makes a multi-fitting garden run simpler to wire.

Specifying it

The 7 W LED is built in, so there is no globe to buy or replace. Colour is RGB plus 3000K white at 250 lm, with a 180° beam that suits the up-and-down wash this fitting is designed for. The body is aluminium in black or white with a polycarbonate diffuser, rated IP65 for direct rain and coastal weather. It is dimmable. A 3-year replacement warranty applies.

Planning the run

Because colour control and 12 V supply have to be planned together, decide how many Halos share a driver before the walls are wired — retro-fitting a second driver behind finished render is the expensive part, not the fitting.
