Product Description
xTivah in 316 stainless steel is the coastal specification of Havit's up/down wall pillar light. 316 is the marine grade — it holds up in salt air where powder-coated aluminium eventually blisters and pits — and the fitting ships with a matching backing plate and a high-output reflector, rated IP65. If the project is within sight of the water, this is the version that lasts.
The choice to make: which part number
The three options differ by voltage and lamp base, not by finish:
- HV1005T — 240V AC, GU10, 60° beam. Straight to mains, no driver. Accepts a 9-in-1 wattage-selectable globe, so output can be tuned at install.
- HV1007GU10T — 240V AC, GU10, 120° beam. Same wiring, wider spread.
- HV1007MR16T — 12V DC, MR16, 120° beam. Requires a 12V DC driver and must never touch 240V directly.
Where it works
- Coastal and waterfront homes — 316 stainless is the reason to specify this over the aluminium Tivah.
- Pool surrounds — chlorine and salt both attack painted finishes.
- Driveway pillars and entries in any exposed position.
Specifying it
Tri-colour globes give 3000K, 4000K or 5500K; commit to one across the run. Because the globes are replaceable this fitting can be re-lamped rather than replaced — but the base is fixed by the part number, so a GU10 globe will not fit the MR16 model or the reverse.
Even marine-grade stainless benefits from maintenance in a salt environment: rinse with fresh water periodically to stop surface tea-staining, which is cosmetic rather than structural. For the 12V model, size the driver to the whole circuit, stay within 25 m of the driver and ±5% of nominal supply, or the warranty does not apply. Licensed electrician only.

Questions
Is 316 stainless worth it over the aluminium version?
Within a few hundred metres of surf, yes — powder-coated aluminium blisters and pits in salt air, and replacing fittings costs more than the initial difference. Inland, the aluminium Tivah performs the same for less.
What is tea-staining, and is it a fault?
A light brown surface discolouration that appears on stainless in coastal air. It is cosmetic, not corrosion of the substrate, and rinsing with fresh water plus an occasional non-abrasive clean keeps it at bay.
Which model needs a driver?
Only HV1007MR16T, which is 12V DC. Both GU10 models are 240V and wire straight to mains. Never connect the MR16 model directly to 240V.
Can I change the globes later?
Yes. Match the base to your model — GU10 for the GU10 versions, MR16 for the 12V version — and choose a tri-colour globe if you want to keep the switchable colour temperature.
What is the 9-in-1 globe on HV1005T?
A globe offering selectable wattage and colour temperature combinations, so one part can be set to suit the position at install. It is the reason HV1005T covers a wider output range than the fixed 5W models.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
