Rana Table Lamp ø500mm in Natural Rattan

The Rana is a ø500 mm hand-woven rattan table lamp with a teardrop shade on an iron base, 600 mm tall, in natural, black or brown.

The shadows are the product

A woven shade does not simply glow — it throws the weave onto the walls and ceiling around it. Lit in a corner, the Rana covers the surrounding surfaces in textured shadow. That is the reason to buy it, and it means the globe matters: a clear globe sharpens the pattern, a frosted one softens it into a wash.

ø500 mm is very large for a table lamp

Half a metre across. This is not a bedside lamp — it needs a console, a sideboard or a wide side table, and it will be the dominant object on it. Measure before ordering; the shade overhangs long before the base does.

Three finishes, and brown is the sleeper

Natural is the classic coastal look. Black turns the same weave graphic and modern — the shadows become the feature rather than the material. Brown is the warmest and reads closest to timber.

Hand-woven, so each is different

Colour and weave tension vary slightly between pieces. That is the nature of rattan, not a fault — but it does mean a matched pair is not really possible.

ø500 mm, 600 mm tall, base ø218 mm, cable 1,880 mm, in hand-woven rattan on an iron base with a PVC cable. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied. Assembly is required and instructions are included. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty. Wipe clean with a dry cloth — no liquid cleaners.
