Product Description
xThe Lyman is an 8 W touch-operated LED table lamp, 400 mm tall, in antique gold with green or gun metal with smoke.
Touch, not a switch
You operate it by touching the lamp itself — no rocker on the cord, no fumbling behind the shade in the dark. On a bedside that is the whole argument for it: reach out, touch, light. It is also one less mechanical part to fail.
Two genuinely different colourways
Antique gold with green is warm and traditional — the green reads as a deep bottle tone against soft gold. Gun metal with smoke is the cool, contemporary opposite: grey-black metal with smoked glazing. They suit different rooms entirely rather than being two shades of one idea.
The LED is built in
8 W at 3000 K, integrated and included — nothing to buy, nothing to match, and the warm colour temperature is fixed at the right value for a bedside. The trade is that the light source is not replaceable, which is normal at this wattage.
No electrician needed
It is Class II, double insulated, with a lead and plug. Despite a line in the old description saying otherwise, you plug it in yourself.
Compact on the surface
250 mm wide, 400 mm tall, on a 160 mm base — a small footprint, so it leaves room on a bedside for a book and a glass.

Questions
How does it switch on?
By touch — you touch the lamp itself. There is no cord switch to find in the dark.
Does it dim?
Our sources record touch operation but do not confirm dimming steps. Ask us if dimming is essential and we will check with the supplier.
Do I need an electrician?
No. It is double insulated with a lead and plug. A line in the old description said otherwise, which was boilerplate and wrong.
Is the globe included?
Yes — the 8 W LED is built in and supplied. It is not replaceable.
What colour is the light?
3000 K warm white, fixed — the right value for a bedside.
Which colourway should I choose?
Antique gold with green is warm and traditional; gun metal with smoke is cool and contemporary. They suit quite different rooms.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
