Shiron 4 Pendant Light Small

The Shiron 4Lt is a 450 mm fabric drum pendant — four E14 globes inside a soft ivory shade, on a brass or dark nickel frame.

The small Shiron, and the gap is large

The six-light Shiron is 700 mm across; this one is 450 mm. That is not a trim — it is the difference between a fitting that commands a large dining room and one that sits comfortably over a four-seat table, a bed or a hallway without dominating.

A drum, so the light is even

Four globes inside fabric behave nothing like four on an open frame. The shade diffuses through its sides and throws a clean disc down — broad, even and glare-free rather than four bright points. That is why a drum is the safe choice over a table where people sit facing each other.

Shallow for its width

450 × 450 mm and only 235 mm high. It reads as a disc rather than a box, and it does not eat headroom in a room with an ordinary ceiling.

Brass or dark nickel against ivory

Brass warms the shade and reads classic; dark nickel recedes and lets the fabric do the talking. The frame is visible only at the top and the fixings, so the choice is subtler than it sounds.

Four E14 globes, not supplied

E14 small Edison screw, not E27 — check before you buy. They sit inside fabric and are never seen, so plain warm globes are all you need. Buy all four from one batch. Dimming is whatever the globes will do.

450 × 450 mm, 235 mm high, suspension 2,000 mm, 2.39 kg, in iron and fabric, matte plated. Four E14 globes at 25 W each — 100 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
