Product Description
xThe Olmont is a 524 mm conical pendant in iron and textured glass, on a height-adjustable 2 m chain, in gold or nickel.
Textured glass, which changes what you see
Not clear, not opal — textured. The surface breaks the light as it leaves, so a filament globe inside reads as a shifting pattern rather than a hard bright point. That is the difference between a fitting you can sit under at a dining table and one that glares at you across it.
The cone points the light down
A conical shade is directional by geometry: it concentrates light onto the surface below and keeps it off the ceiling. Over an island or a table that is exactly right. As a room light it is the wrong shape, and no globe will change that.
Chain, and you can shorten it
2,000 mm of adjustable chain, taken up link by link at installation — more forgiving than cutting cable, and it suits the transitional idiom. Over a table, hang the shade roughly 750–900 mm above the surface.
Gold or nickel
Gold warms the textured glass and leans traditional. Nickel cools it and reads industrial. Same fitting, two quite different rooms.
One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied
An ordinary replaceable globe. Because the glass is textured rather than opaque, a filament globe is visible and worth fitting — it is the pattern in the glass that you are paying for.

Questions
Does it change colour?
No. Our record carries a colour-changing flag, which is simply wrong — it takes an ordinary E27 globe and has no colour control of any kind.
Which globe should I fit?
A filament globe. The glass is textured rather than opaque, so the globe is visible and breaks into a shifting pattern — which is the point of the fitting.
Will it light a whole room?
No. A cone concentrates light downward onto the surface below and keeps it off the ceiling. It is an island and table fitting; no globe will change that geometry.
Can I shorten it?
Yes — 2,000 mm of chain, taken up link by link, which is more forgiving than cutting cable. Over a table, hang the shade 750–900 mm above the surface.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
