A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
A 24 V MR16 LED globe — 5 W for 400 lm at 2700 K, with CRI above 90.
This is the replacement globe for the garden spikes. The Manus and Clovis 24 V post spike lights are supplied with an MR16 globe exactly like this one — and this is what you fit when it eventually fails, or when you want a different beam angle. No page in our catalogue said so.
A sealed-LED garden light fails as a whole fitting and has to be dug out of the bed. A spike that takes an MR16 lets you change the globe and leave the fitting in the ground — and change the beam angle while you are at it, narrow to spot a shrub or wide to wash a bed.
That combination is the reason this globe suits a garden and a generic MR16 does not. 2700 K is genuinely warm — foliage looks alive rather than fluorescent. CRI >90 means greens read green and bark reads brown. A CRI 80 globe at 3000 K turns a good planting scheme grey-blue after dark, and most replacement MR16s are exactly that.
Check this before you order. MR16 is a shape, not a voltage — the same
two-pin globe is sold in 12 V and 240 V versions that will not work here.
This one is 24 V, matched to the Telbix low-voltage garden system running off a
C TR060.24V or C TR200.24V transformer.
An accent output — enough to light a shrub or graze a wall, not to light a garden. That is what the fittings it goes in are for.
Stated plainly: it will not dim. The garden spikes it suits are not dimmable either, so in practice this rarely matters.
48 mm high, 0.01 kg. MR16 base, 24 V, 5 W giving 400 lm at 2700 K, CRI >90. Not dimmable. IP20 — the globe itself is not weather rated; it is protected by the fitting it sits in. Warranty is three years.

No. MR16 is a shape, not a voltage — the same two-pin globe is sold in 12 V and 240 V versions. This one is 24 V only.
It is genuinely warm, so foliage looks alive rather than fluorescent. Combined with CRI above 90, greens read green — where a standard CRI 80 globe turns a planting scheme grey-blue after dark.

No — and the garden spikes it suits are not dimmable either, so in practice it rarely matters.
The globe itself is IP20 — it is protected by the fitting it sits in, which is IP65.
The fitting does — a C TR060.24V or C TR200.24V. The globe simply matches that 24 V system.
