Sisby LED Table Lamp

The Sisby is an LED table lamp on a marble base — brass matt on white marble, or antique brass on black marble — 420 mm tall, with an integrated 12 W LED giving 490 lm at 3000 K and touch dimming.

There is a driver, and it plugs in

The Sisby is Class III — low voltage, under 54 V, which means it runs through an external driver between the plug and the lamp. Nothing on our page mentioned it, and it is worth knowing for two reasons:

• ✅ No electrician. It plugs into an ordinary socket, and the low-voltage lead running to the lamp is safer than a mains flex if it is ever nicked or pinched.
• ⚠ There is a box on the cord. On a bedside table or an open shelf you will want to plan where the driver sits — behind a leg, or clipped under the table.

490 lumens — what it is for

• ✅ An accent and atmosphere lamp: a warm pool of light on a sideboard, entry table, bedside table or a shelf, and something to turn down to almost nothing late in the evening.
• ⚠ It is not a task or reading lamp. 490 lm at 3000 K is a soft, warm output — lovely to sit near, not enough to work under.
• Efficacy is 41 lm/W, which is modest — a decorative lamp spends its light on the room rather than aiming it.

✅ The integrated LED is included, so there is no globe to buy and nothing to match — and the colour temperature can never drift when someone replaces a globe with the wrong one.

Marble, and the two combinations

Marble is what makes this lamp feel more expensive than it is, and the two versions are genuinely different in character:

• Brass matt on white marble — lighter, softer, and quieter in a pale room. White marble's grey veining is subtle and reads as texture rather than pattern.
• Antique brass on black marble — heavier and more dramatic, and the aged brass against dark stone is the more traditional of the two.

⚠ Marble is porous. Wipe spills off promptly — wine, coffee and oil will mark it — and use a soft dry cloth rather than a household spray, which can etch a polished surface.

Where it works

• Bedside tables — touch dimming is what you want at 11 pm.
• Sideboards, entry tables and shelves, as a warm accent.
• Alongside the matching Sisby floor lamp.
• ⚠ Not a reading lamp — 490 lm is atmosphere.
• ⚠ Plan where the driver box on the cord will sit.

420 mm high, 1.7 kg, lead 1,800 mm beyond the driver; ⚠ shade diameter is not recorded — ask us. In iron and marble — brass matt on white marble, or antique brass on black marble. Integrated 12 W LED giving 490 lm at 3000 K, CRI >80, included, with TOUCH dimming on the lamp itself. 240 V at the plug, Class III — low voltage, external driver, no electrician, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
