Product Description
xThe Placin table lamp is the 550 mm companion to the Placin floor lamp — an ivory fabric drum shade on a white marble base, in antique gold or bronze, and its height adjusts.
An adjustable table lamp is unusual
Floor lamps sometimes telescope; table lamps almost never do. The Placin's stem adjusts, so the same lamp sits low on a bedside and stands tall on a console. If you rearrange rooms, that is a lamp that comes with you.
Antique gold or bronze — not brass or copper
Our old copy called them brass and copper. The stocked finishes are antique gold (warm and softly aged) and bronze (darker and browner), both matt rather than polished.
Ivory, not white
The ø300 mm drum is ivory, which keeps the light warm-toned. Against cool-white downlights that difference shows — worth knowing when you are matching a room.
White marble, and it varies
Natural stone gives the adjustable stem its stability, and every base is veined differently. Order a pair together if they are flanking a bed.
An inline switch
On the cord rather than the base — findable without reaching around the lamp.

Specifying it
550 mm tall, height adjustable, shade ø300 mm, base ø300 mm, in fabric, iron and white marble with a black PVC cable and an inline switch. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Questions
Does the height really adjust?
Yes — unusual on a table lamp. The same lamp sits low on a bedside and stands tall on a console.
What finishes are there?
Antique gold or bronze, both matt. An earlier version of this page called them brass and copper, which was wrong.
Why ivory rather than white?
It keeps the light warm-toned, which shows against cool-white downlights.
Is there a matching floor lamp?
Yes — the Placin floor lamp at 1,600 mm, with the same shade, base and adjustment.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe up to 25 W, supplied separately.
Will a pair match?
Not exactly — the marble is natural and veined differently in every piece. Order a pair together.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
