Product Description
xThe Matilda is a 600 mm table lamp in black with antique gold, built from marble, iron and glass, weighing 5 kg.
Five kilograms is a lot for a table lamp
That weight is the marble, and it tells you what kind of object this is: it does not move easily and it does not tip. On a console in a hallway, or a side table in a room with children or dogs, that stability is worth more than it sounds.
Check your surface width before ordering. This lamp is recorded at 680 mm wide — wider than it is tall, which is unusual. On a standard narrow console it will overhang at both ends.
Black and antique gold, with glass
Antique gold is a warm, satin metal rather than a bright one, so against black it reads as a considered pairing instead of a contrast for its own sake. The glass element catches light and keeps a heavy lamp from looking solid.
A 1.8 m lead with a plug
It arrives with a lead and plug fitted — no electrician, no hard-wiring. 1,800 mm gives you real freedom in where it stands relative to the socket.
E27 to 25 W, not supplied
An ordinary replaceable globe, so colour temperature is your choice and dimming depends on the globe and dimmer.

Questions
How wide is it, really?
680 mm — wider than it is tall, which is unusual and worth measuring for. On a standard narrow console it will overhang at both ends.
Why is it so heavy?
The marble base. Five kilograms means it does not tip and does not get knocked off a hall console.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe up to 25 W, supplied separately.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It comes with a lead and plug fitted, on a 1,800 mm cable.
Is it dimmable?
That depends on the globe you fit and the dimmer — the lamp has no driver of its own.
Will the marble match a second one?
Not exactly. Marble is natural and veined differently in every piece.
What is the warranty?
Three years.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
