The Elwick is a 415 mm table lamp on a marble base with an antique brass body and a mouth-blown faceted glass shade — three colourways — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, on 1.8 metres of flex.
It plugs into a power point. Our page said it “must be installed by a licensed electrician”. It has 1.8 metres of flex and is Class II double insulated. Removed.
Our product record carried no material field whatsoever: not the marble, not the brass, not the glass. On this lamp that is the entire product.
Mouth-blown means the glass is shaped by breath, not pressed into a mould — so the wall thickness varies slightly and no two shades are identical. Add facets to that and you get something a moulded shade cannot do: each face catches and refracts light at its own angle, and because the glass behind them is uneven, the facets do not all read the same. Lit, it is a cluster of differently bright surfaces rather than a regular pattern.
The globe is visible through faceted glass — choose it deliberately. One E27 to 25 W, not supplied. A decorative LED filament inside faceted glass is the whole effect; a bare white capsule will look unfinished. Use warm 2700 K, particularly behind amber. Ask us and we will match one.
415 mm high, 190 mm wide, on a base only 100 mm across, at 3.06 kg.
That is a very small footprint for a lamp this weight, and it is stone that makes it work: marble is dense enough to hold a 415 mm lamp steady on a 100 mm base where a metal one would tip. Practically, the Elwick takes almost no table space and stays exactly where you put it — a good combination on a crowded bedside table or a narrow console.
Dimming depends on the globe. Our record carries no value at all; the datasheet says globe dependent. On a plug-in lamp that needs an inline or plug-in dimmer — and with faceted glass and a visible filament, dimming is the single best thing you can do for how it looks. Ask us and we will match the pair. It is IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.
415 mm high by 190 mm wide, base 100 mm, flex 1,800 mm, 3.06 kg, in marble, iron and mouth-blown glass, antique brass. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied and visible; dimming is globe dependent and needs an inline or plug-in dimmer. 240 V, plug-in — no electrician required, Class II — double insulated, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

No. It has 1.8 metres of flex and is double insulated — fit a globe and plug it in. Our page said otherwise, which was wrong.

Black marble with smoke glass is the darkest and most formal — smoke cuts the output and the lamp stays a dark object when off. Brown with amber warms the light itself, so it reads golden and candle-like, the warmest by a distance. Green is the most decisive and works where there is timber, brass or planting to answer it.
Yes, and marble is why. It is 3.06 kg on a 100 mm base — dense enough to hold a 415 mm lamp steady where a metal base that size would tip. It takes almost no table space and stays exactly where you put it.
