Product Description
xThe Ortez is a lamp with a domed metal shade on an arched arm over a real marble base — in black with antique gold, or white with bronze.
This listing has known data problems and we would rather say so. It carries table-lamp order codes under a floor-lamp title, its record specifies a different globe from its datasheet, and its measurements do not reconcile. Tell us which lamp you actually want — table or floor — and we will confirm the size and the globe before anything ships.
The marble is the reason to buy it
The base is marble, not a painted or composite imitation — and that is absent from our product record entirely. Marble gives the lamp real mass, which an arched-arm design genuinely needs: the shade cantilevers out over the base, and without weight underneath the whole thing tips. It is also what makes it look expensive from across a room.
The arched arm puts light where you need it
The arm reaches out over the surface rather than standing straight up, so the domed shade sits above and beyond the base — over a book, a side table or the arm of a chair, with the base tucked out of the way. A straight-stem lamp lights the table it stands on; this one lights what you are doing.
A domed metal shade, so the light is directional
Closed metal, not fabric or glass. All the light goes downward in a defined pool and none escapes upward — a reading light, not an ambient one. The antique gold interior warms what it throws.
The switch is on the cord
Not on the base and not on the shade — an inline switch on the cord, on a 2,000 mm cable. Findable by feel from a chair.
Plug in and use it
Class II, double insulated, no earth required. No electrician.
Globe: E27 to 25 W, not supplied
The datasheet and the old copy both say E27 at 25 W, and that is what we publish. ⚠ Our product record says GU10 at 6 W — a completely different lamp. Confirm with us before buying globes.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
