Product Description
xThe Hoff is a table lamp pairing a black marble base with an opal matt glass shade — heavy stone below, soft glowing glass above. It is the table version of a family that also includes a floor lamp.
Opal matt hides the globe entirely
The glass is opaque enough that you see a glowing form rather than a lamp inside a shade. That makes it comfortable at close range — on a bedside or a desk where a visible filament would be in your eye line all evening.
Marble is the reason it stays put
A ø180 mm marble base gives real weight in a small footprint. It will not shift when the cord is knocked. Marble is porous, though, so wipe spills promptly rather than letting them stand.

- Bedsides, where the diffused glass is easy on the eye.
- Desks and studies, as a warm secondary light.
- Consoles and shelves, as much object as lamp.
- Paired with the Hoff floor lamp in the same room.
Specifying it
Shade ø195 mm, base ø180 mm, in marble, iron and opal matt glass. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. It is Class II — double insulated, no earth required, so it plugs straight in, and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Dimming is globe dependent. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. A warm globe suits opal glass — cool white makes the shade read grey rather than white.

What is the base made of?
Black marble — heavy and stable in a small footprint. It is porous, so wipe spills promptly.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately.
Will I see the globe through the shade?
No. The opal matt glass is opaque enough that you see a glowing form rather than the lamp — comfortable at close range.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It is double insulated and plugs into a normal outlet.
Is there a matching floor lamp?
Yes — the Hoff floor lamp uses the same marble and opal matt glass.
Is it dimmable?
Globe dependent. Fit a dimmable globe and use a plug-in dimmer.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
