Gina Floor Lamp 1Lt in Beige, Black

The Gina is a 1,500 mm floor lamp with a travertine base and a glass sphere shade — beige with opal matt, or black with dark antique brass and smoke.

Travertine, which the spec sheet nearly lost

The base is real travertine: natural limestone with small pits and a soft banded grain, quarried rather than moulded. It is what gives a slim floor lamp the weight to stand safely, and it is the material worth paying for — our own product record omitted it entirely.

Two versions that light differently

Beige with opal matt is the soft one: the sphere diffuses evenly and glows in all directions. Black with smoke transmits less and tints what passes through, so the globe is visible inside and the light is moodier. The beige is a reading lamp; the black is atmosphere.

A sphere lights the room, not just the floor

Unlike a metal-shaded floor lamp, a glass globe glows in every direction — ambient light for the room and a pool beneath. If you want directed reading light only, the Vale or Marthos does that better.

Stone varies

Every travertine base differs in colour and banding. That is the nature of the material, but it means a matched pair is not possible.

There is a matching table lamp

The Gina is also made as a table lamp in the same materials — a floor and table pair reads as one scheme.

Specifying it

1,500 mm tall, base ø200 mm, shade ø240 mm, in travertine, glass and iron. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
